WebAre Garmin marathon training plans any good? I'm running a marathon in 12 weeks. I've been running 6 days a week for the last year, mixing it up with two base runs, two tempo runs, and two HIIT runs (sprinting for 0.15 km then resting for 50 seconds, 20 times). On top of this I also strength train 5 days a week. WebYeah, understandable but still seems a bit crazy to train for 19 miles for a half marathon (and I’m fully expecting the next long run will be 20+). Based on other responses and his normal training schedule it seems to be a Garmin issue since his normal training for a half has the long run as 14 miles. 19 miles is 30.58 km.
