Then tick the "Open output log when games start" option. Then go back to Minecraft: Java Edition on the left sidebar and press play.

WebMaking me download the FTB launcher would've been another point in itself because screw Overwolf and their ads that take up half the lanucher, but GDLauncher runs FTB packs so that saved you there. The performance also wasn't that great either even with Optifine installed and I'm not aware of any other performance mods for 1.16.5 for Forge.
