The flighted set are simply different FCM's for long, mid, and short iron groups. For example, in a 5.0 flighted set 2, 3, 4 irons are 4.5 FCM; 5, 6, 7 irons are 5.0 FCM; 8, 9, PW are 5.5 FCM. About 2009, I dumped Stiff shafts in all my non-wedge clubs and went back to Regular. For awhile I played X20 irons with the Uniflex shaft, which falls between R and Stiff, and probably has FCM about 5.5.
